Effective August 14, 2026 · Version 1.0

Retention and deletion

BroFam minimizes marketplace information and assigns retention by data class, authorization and purpose.

Amazon buyer information

PII is deleted no later than 30 days after order delivery and sooner when Amazon requests deletion, the seller revokes authorization, BroFam is no longer authorized, or the service relationship ends. A documented legal requirement may justify isolated limited retention.

Deletion controls

Records receive an expiry when stored. Automated expiry is supplemented by overdue-record verification because database TTL is not an exact deletion clock. Restricted artifacts use finite lifecycle rules. Restored data remains unavailable until expired records are purged and verified. BroFam can produce a deletion record using opaque references without placing buyer data in evidence.

Other records

Non-PII Amazon Information is retained only for its documented business need and no longer than 18 months. PII-free security logs are retained for at least 12 months. Immutable evidence contains security metadata, not buyer PII.

Requests and changes

Authorized sellers request deletion through their authenticated support channel. Questions: privacy@brofam.app; never include buyer PII in email. Version 1.0 is the initial policy prepared August 14, 2026.
